Message from the Vice-Chairman: Health service is a recognized human right and it is universally recognized as an important indicator of human resource development. Health services are the third most important issue for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of Bangladesh. And for the proper implementation of this health service, skilled doctors, nurses, medical technologists of various subjects, assistant doctors, pharmacists and health workers are needed. In order to reach this health service to the doorsteps of the people, along with doctors, nurses, medical technologists of various subjects, assistant doctors, pharmacists and health workers are needed. Their need to ensure quality health care is undeniable. Realizing this need, the National Institute of Medical and Dental Technology Nursing College (NIMDT MATS and Nursing College) first started Health Allied courses in 2006. Over time, the students who passed out from NIMDT MATS and Nursing College are now working in reputed government hospitals, diagnostics and clinics in Bangladesh. At present, NIMDT MATS and Nursing College has set up international standard labs in its own campus to ensure quality education of these courses. There are large teachers including full-time MBBS, BSC, MSc nurse teachers. Students of NIMDT MATS and Nursing College are interned in addition to practical classes directly in government hospitals. In addition to strengthening the students academically, 100 percent employment is ensured through their own 'Job Placement Cell'. For these reasons, NIMDT MATS & Nursing College is distinct from any other traditional institution. The NIMDT family is proud to contribute to this great mission of health care education along with the government.
